Are you or your child struggling with difficult emotions? Are you feeling overwhelmed or stressed and unsure of what to do? Is your child struggling with relationships or lashing out? Have you noticed that you are taking your struggles out on those closest to you or anyone attempting to support you?
When we are struggling with difficult emotions sometimes they come out as negative behaviors, i.e. dishonesty, anger, aggression, doing poorly in school/work & trouble connecting with others.
Sarah’s goal is to work with parents and teens together to assist them in understanding one another and rebuilding their family relationships.
Sarah also specializes in working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, verbal conflict, and anger/aggression. She enjoys working with people to help them understand their emotions so that they may find their voice. Joining her in therapy means working together to address the patterns that have you or your teen feeling stuck. The aim is to create change.
Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She utilizes ABFT, CBT, and DBT skills to help build self awareness and establish emotional strength.
Sarah accepts LEHB- Law Enforcement Health Benefits, Allied Trades-Union Workers, and private pay.
